What is your favorite Easter candy and how did you resist?

It's almost time for the Easter Bunny. In my house we did the bunny foot prints and hid the eggs all over stuffed with candy and of course the biggest chocolate bunny you could find. My to "die for" Easter candy was my Aunt Jo's, hand made chocolate covered peanut butter Easter eggs. She would send us a box (yes a box - 12) of them each year.

After my surgery I wanted one of those eggs so bad But had my DH give them away to the neighbors. What was my go to food to replace them? Easter chick deviled eggs. Well granted they were not chocolate covered peanut butter eggs but I made a dozen of them and loved them. They really get me through....

What is your to "die for" Easter candy and how did you survive?

I'm not around Easter candy anymore, but I remember as a kid when Cadbury Creme Eggs first came out. My mom gave me an Easter basket filled with 24 of them. I ate them all in pretty quick order and haven't been able to even think about eating one since!

My favorite is the Cadbury crème eggs!! I just KNOW my Mom will have some at the house when I get there. No guarantees I'm resisting one of them!!

My 30 yr. old Daughter would probably say the same thing to me!! I'm actually hoping my Mom bought the small ones. Then I won't feel so guilty.

I will have candy on Easter. I won't buy it for the house. I will buy one peanut butter egg each for all of us. Some jelly beans.

I think right now Jelly Beans are on my list of favorites.

I love you showing the control. You don't have to do without but control/moderation. Way to go

When my husband had me buy one of those containers of jelly beans from Costco. They had so many flavors he was eating them months after Easter.

Control is easy when the stuff is not in the house. When I am out it can be hard. My kids don't really need that much candy. They are big enough were they can buy candy on their own.

I do want to dye Easter eggs this year. No little ones to do it with.
