Many people don't get it though - I didn't.

Mine started around month 4, and hasn't stopped yet. I lose hair by the literal handful when I wa**** I have really thick hair though, so no one but me would notice ( and my husband when I forget my nests in the shower...). But my guess is I've lost close to a quarter of it.

im not bothered, I know it will grow back. In the meantime, I'll enjoy how much quicker I can wash my hair (I used to have to shampoo in sections to get to my scalp) and the savings on hair products haha

I'm not going to lie, I've been a little excited about potential hair loss! All those styles I could never try because my hair is CRAZY thick! I know I shouldn't wish for it, it could be far more excessive than I'd think, but right now the thought of losing half of it would be so FUN!!!!

I didn't have any. I'm at 7 months post-op band to VSG revision. I have read that it usually occurs between month 3 to month 6, and it almost always grows back. Perhaps you won't experience it. :)

My hair started to fall out about 2 months ago. I added biotin to my vitamins 6 weeks ago and I'm also using extra strength Rogaine at night.

Lots of new 1" lo g hairs on my head now, so something is working!

Not everyone has hair loss, like you my hair got better than it ever was...I attribute I guess to all the protein...

My fell out from month 3-7 and by month 9 I could see lots of new regrowth. Now my hair is thicker and curlier than ever.

Thanks to everyone who took/takes the time to respond. I've done lots of research but it's good to read about people's experiences. Thanks again.
