Do calorie posting on menus change your decisions?

Yes. I was at Costco the other day and the 'fast food' choices were insanely high. Even the turkey sandwich had 700 - 800 calories. Even if only ate the turkey, it would still be crazy.

Yes! A while back I ate a 1/2 chicken fajita omelet at IHOP. I thought I was doing the right thing. I looked at the nutrition on line and it was close to 1,000 calories - way more than I had estimated. Now I try and look one line before I eat somewhere. I try and eat places where I can get an accurate count. I also track on mfpal and I don't want to have to guess.

Not really. Not counting calories is a perk of the DS.
