It makes a big difference for me. Even to this day there are some of those moments.

It doesn't affect what I order at all. My focus is always the meat and veggies.

Nope. I order protein heavy and if there is something that I don't want to have in there I ask for my food without that item. I also can't/won't eat a full portion so those numbers are always cut at least in half anyway.

Not me. But I am more likely to go to a restaurant that posts their ingredients and full nutritional info online.

Thanks for the input. I don't normally go to chain restaurants so I don't really see this, but I did relate to the Starbucks Fraps. (I now make my own with protein powder and coffee)

If I know I have to meet someone at a restaurant I have not been to before, particularly a fast casual type of place like Panera - I will be all over the online menu before I meet them so I know where I stand with protein, carbs and calories so I can order efficiently. If I'm at a "normal" restaurant, I usually order a grilled protein and then just pick at the veg on the plate.

Even if I do a diner breakfast, I give one of my kids my homefries after I have one or two just to satisfy the taste and take half my omelette home. Saturday, we had a late breakfast/lunch and gave my daughter my home fries and I ate two bites of her pancakes because I had be craving them something fierce.

Keep on losing!

It may or may not affect my choices, but I will admit that I love when I see nutritional information on menus. I had a friend who was angry when restaurants started doing it because she just wanted to enjoy her meal without thinking about the calories. She was never one to watch what she ate though (even though she should).

Nope doesn't sway me one way or another. I eat a lot of calories a day.

Totally,

especially when deciding between two things. It reveals what is hidden in a dish that is not evident on the menu. There is nothing more disappointing than thinking you are ordering something healthy and having it delivered sopping in oil and things not shown on the menu. I've had that happen where it rendered an otherwise delicious meal inedible.

I saw a salmon dish on the menu and it was 1500 calories...um what the heck are you adding to it? I'll ask or pass.
