What is preferable for breakfast?

Thanks everyone for sharing your views but my concern is that what is good for the breakfast as i do gym in the mornings and i have to take breakfast, and my trainer said eat heavy breakfast as compared to lunch or dinner.but i am confused what will i eat so that my weight will not increase.

I would suggest going heavy on protein in the mornings then since you'll be working out. If it is something you have to have "on the go", a protein shake for breakfast might be a good option for you. So instead of having the bulk of your protein goal coming later in the day, front load your day with protein.

Does your trainer at the gym know you had surgery? I ask because not all are familiar with post WLS requirements and are used to giving out very general nutritional advice (note that most aren't trained nutritionists either). It might be a good idea to talk with a nutritionist from your bariatric center to discuss any adjustments to meal planning you can take to support morning workouts.
