Well you don't say if you are pre or post op?

Reading the daily RNY menu thread will give you tons of breakfast ideas.

eggs, turkey sausage, oatmeal, Greek yogurt etc are my staples for breakfast.

I love omelettes - eggs, cheese and veggies. I make Eggface's egg bites for days when I'm rushing - lots of varieties. Sometimes I'll cook up some bacon or sausage, or heat up some leftovers. Anything high protein is good.

Me too. Except that once in a while on a weekend I will have a hi-prot pancake with some SF Greek yogurt instead of syrup. Eggs were never a fav of mine.

Breakfast today was 2.85 oz ground turkey, .5 tsp of pesto and 1 oz of shredded cheese I no longer feel compelled to eat "breakfast" (In my mind, high carb) food for breakfast. As long as its food and protein forward, I'm good.

Depends on the day. I usually do a couple of eggs and bacon. When I'm in a rush I use pasteurized egg whites, mix it with unsweetened cocoa and artificial sweetener and blend.

I do not eat breakfast food for breakfast mostly because I dont tolerate eggs well. So, I start my day with a protein shake early in the am. Will sometimes have a piece of fruit for a mid morning snack and then eat lunch and dinner as normal.

There are times however when I will skip the protein shake and have some type of protein for breakfast that might have been leftover from dinner the night before. I have had chicken, salmon, lunch meats, cottage cheese, cheese and hard salami....

I mean it is really up to you to consider getting away from breakfast foods especially high carb like pancakes, waffles and cereals. I stay away unless of course I make my favorite vanilla ricotta pancakes with SF syrup. Those rock, have very little carbs and great protein. Any they taste amazing.

Protein forward is pretty much what I try to stick to. I have no problem eating lunch meat and cheese for breakfast. Or eggs for dinner.

I've never liked eating breakfast, so I've had a protein shake for breakfast probably 98% of the days since my surgery three years ago.
