Hi Members WooHoo it's Friday

I saw this and it reminded me of my husband and I. We loved our food and shared all, well almost. Seriously we use to hide our favorite food items from each other. My husband did most of his closet eating in the car. He traveled a lot and I could find anything and everything there LOL I kept food in my night stand, a drawer in my dresser and and and are you ready for this? In a plastic bin in the pantry marked healthy foods

Where was your secret stash of food you kept from the family?

I did most my closet eating at work. So, it was stuffed in desk drawers. I did used to hide some things at home to eat after everyone else went to bed. Those were stuffed in the "pantry" behind the toilet paper.

I thought this referred to marijuana. When my son left home for good and I was redecorating his bedroom, I found a piece of baseboard that had been cut out and a small storage space behind it. When the baseboard was fitted back in place it was not noticeable at all. I am guessing that something was kept hidden in there and doubt it was cookies.

Thankfully I've never had to hide any food from my SO as we like different things for the most part. At Christmas we used to buy the 1kg chocolate bricks from Walmart and keep them in the fruit cellar. He keeps his chip hoard in the basement now but that's mostly because we don't have room in the kitchen (yet -- we are renovating it next). I have however asked him to hide food from me or take it to work to share so I don't eat it. I got boxes and boxes of chocolates for Christmas this year and 90% of it went to his work.

My Aunt and Uncle had a candy shop. Yes, hello my name is Kathy and I am a chocoholic For Easter they use to make these chocolate covered peanut butter easter eggs. Really big, the size you would slice. I learned early on if I didn't hide them my husband and son would suck them down so fast I didn't remember the color of the candy flower on top

I'm a chocoholic as well. I'm currently detoxing. No protein bars, cookies, or chocolates. They are trigger foods for me. I'm trying to stick to whole and natural foods whenever possible. I haven't kicked my protein shakes yet, but they aren't as slippery a slope.

Watch for the high sugar count carbs too. What I call the white devils. I found once I started reigning in my regain if I ate a handful of skinny pop popcorn I had a low blood sugar attack

I remember hiding chocolate in the freezer. I would wrap it in aluminum foil and no one ever checked it. Sad, but true.
