I'm 45-ishlbs down from surgery (98lbs down total) and I don't recognize myself in mirrors anymore!

I have a big length mirror and sometimes I catch myself off guard and will just stand there a moment and stare. Not even at the change in my body, but my face. I look almost NOTHING like when I was so big. My face was so round like a baby face which I assumed may have been my natural face shape, but I'm so much more angular than I thought. It throws me for a huge loop!

Replies on old posts are such a trip! I wish I could have told myself then how weird it would be to be over 100lbs down from surgery!

Totally agree. I pointed at a picture and asked who was the chick. It was ME!! I didn't recognize my own d*mn self.

The things I'm seeing (I do no****ch the shows) is that she eats "protein packs, little debbie pies and Mexican food" and is a size 4. Boy, do they loooove saying she's a size 4 on all the promos I've seen. And of course she's able to eat total crap "just can't eat much of it" before she throws up.

This is disturbing and horrible. She's not changed her relationship with food at all, and she definitely should not have had plastics until her weight had been stable for 1 year minimum. Where are the doctors in all of this? How on earth can they condone this type of thing - for freaking attention and ratings?

She will regain, and everyone that sees this (including herself and her children) will believe that weight loss surgery is stupid and pointless since it "didn't work" for her...

Honestly, if people would stop watching this type of crap, then she would hopefully just fade away and maybe stop doing all of this, but then again, she was the type that is desperate for attention and obviously has issues with self esteem and forming real relationships in general and believes any attention - even ridicule - is better than nothing. Just a shame she's taught that to her children.

I am at a 6 jeans and look smaller than her. I think she is really tall but still does not look like a 4.
