I basically buy these -- https://www.amazon.com/Wholesale-Womens-Skirts-Printed-Rever sible/dp/B01GMTSYZK/ref=sr_1_28?ie=UTF8&qid=1491507406&sr=8- 28&keywords=silk+wrap+skirts

I've gotten them in three different lengths and probably have 30-40 total.

My therapist was actually the one who suggested skirts and it was like this lightbulb moment. "Oh yea, I used to wear skirts all the time." So skirts + coordinating shirt is basically my "uniform" now.

Yup, I tie them like that. They've got two small holes in the waistband that the tie can go through, so they're still tied on the outside of the waistband. Most of the ones I've gotten have come with a booklet that instructs on different methods of wearing, but I've never bothered.

So looking at the picture again.. it doesn't really show the whole thing. The skirts have ties at the waistband and I tie those in a simple square knot. The picture almost makes it look like the skirt itself is bunched up and tied. Which isn't what I do.

Buy a few pair of size 20, used if you can.

In the larger sizes, you might need to lose 30 pounds before dropping a size. When you get down into 12s or 14s, losing 10 pounds might make a size change. In single digit sizes, 5 pounds can mean a size change. Plan accordingly.

Yes. Like WD, I always had at least 2 pairs of pants and one pair of jeans that fit. I found a thrift store in my area that had pants for $4 and often had sales when they were $2. I got a new set monthly when I was losing. Belts saved me a lot of money on pants. I would even drill extra holes in them to make them last longer.

I agree with everyone who said WEAR CLOTHES THAT FIT !!!! So many people think baggy clothes make them look smaller...NOT!!!

For myself, I am a disgrace to my sisterhood. I don't like shoes, and I don't like shopping. *gasp* ... shoot me now

When I need a belt, that won't show, I wear a belt intended for baseball players. I get them at Goodwill for $2.00. They are comfortable, adjustable, and last forever.

You are so funny!! I really do not like shopping either, except that I LOVE thrift shopping because it is like a treasure hunt. My kids love going with me, too. We never know what we will find.
