Scale and non scale victories!
Today I am official my lowest adult weight 144.4! Next goal here I come: to have a BMI under 25. I'm hoping to make that goal before I head on my big trip to Australia on May 3. Not sure if I can make it, 10lbs in a month but why not reach?
NSV is that now even my smallest sizes are getting to big and actually clothes that I was hoping to get into for my trip I won't be able to wear because they are already to big. The less clothes that fit, the less I'll pack. More room to shop while I'm traveling!
Losing a lot before surgery gives us a good running start, and makes reaching goal a lot easier. Good for you.

Thanks. It was a long wait for surgery and a long process for me. I had to move across country. But the day I decided on surgery I also decided I wasn't going to wait to get healthy. I was in so much pain from the excess weight and couldn't spend those 9 months in pain. I'm really glad I lost so much going into surgery even though I was scared right till the week before surgery that they might cancel if I got too small (the nutritionist had told me this) but the dr said this was not true and he turned out to be right. I really do feel like I got a head start and I can really maximize my loss during this "honeymoon" period right after surgery. I just feel blessed now.
