Almost Winning the Battle of Regain - spilling my guts!
In 2004 I weighed 330 pounds and could not walk. In 2005 I had lost over 200 pounds and started the process of 3 major PS. I lived the next 10 years plus healthier than I had ever been and living life as it was meant to be lived, weighing between 118-125. Everyday was an aha moment. In 2010 my husband had a stroke and all the focus was on him and his needs. I lost him in 2015 and believe in my heart if he had the surgery he would be here. Once the fog lifted I realized I had regain and was so disappointed in myself. I finally got to place where I forgave myself and got back to the basics. Let's say I got busy
2017 reaching goal take II
I found the scales saying 190 and was shocked. This pass Saturday the same scale said 140. BAM, 50 pounds of regain gone. Posting this now instead of waiting to get to my goal take II because it's getting harder and harder. I had the goal in mind of 125 by the Memorial Day Weekend! I am going to really put my "fat" to the fire and commit to post my update here every Monday. Knowing I have all my OH family watching me I will do it. GEEZ!!!! Pray for me

I was really going to wait until I hit my goal but man oh man it's getting so hard and slowing down and yada yada we all know that song. I decided to really put the pressure on. Let's see if this old gal cracks under the pressure or dancing the Happy Dance

Awesome job, Kathy! JUST FABULOUS!
I looked back at my old posts from 2008 and saw that we used to have weekly weigh-in's on Mondays.
It could be nice to have accountability among everyone who wants to do so. We do it with our daily menus. I know, for me, it was easier to stay off the scale yo-yo that way, too.
Hi Rachel,
Thank you! What is great this time around, is the scale is not the end all, my life is not ruled by numbers. And as long as I am taking 3 steps forward and 1 back I will be 2 steps ahead. In other words we learn to not be so black and white. If we do, it's going to hurt
Feel free to join me on the Monday weigh ins!!! This is for us all

Kathy,
You look happy and fabulous! You are such an amazing and dedicated mentor. You are always here when the OH community needs you and we will be here for you! Thank you for your support.
Sorry, but I won't pray for you. You are working too hard, and don't need divine intervention. Keep kicking ass Kathy.
This is a great example for everyone. The surgery still does its job if we do ours.
Nicely done.
