NSV!!!

We are at the season opener of our local drag strip. I wandered to the T shirt stand ans asked about the price of a shirt. She looked at me and said "for your size it is $15, larger sizes are $20.". I wanted to hug her! Also, that shirt that I'm wearing has been hanging in my closet since 02-03 and I've never been able to to wear it. UNTIL TODAY!

Whoop! I had a similar experience today when someone said "are you a small?" and I wanted to hug them. I am NOT a small. Maybe a large or XL. But still.

Also; I'm jealous of your accessibility to a drag strip. We don't have one near here. I was on a dirt track racing team for several years though, and that was FUN. (I was not driving, just changing tires mostly).

It is about 30 miles from our house. I put myself through college buying and selling cars. I used to come here and put my dial in time as something like $16.95 obo. It always generated interest. We have a 1/3 mile dirt oval track about 1/2 mile behind where we are sitting.

Our dirt track is about 30 miles away (a little over 1/2 mile), on a Native American reservation right on the Canadian border. We also have tracks in Canada that we went to all the time (Brockville, ON & Cornwall, ON (1/4 track, so it's a bowl and so FUN). We used to run the three tracks Friday, Saturday, Sunday from May - August.

We haven't been except a couple times since I had my oldest. We have two daughters and they are such girls. Which is NOT me, so I have no idea where they get it from.

We try to get out at least a few times per year. This picture was taken last season.

Way to go!!! I'm only three weeks out, so I'm still just looking forward to that type of thing.
