My 600 lb life Steven and Justin
I finished watching this last night and was going to post but you beat me to it. For this one, glitter sitter and positive Kathy has left the building!
As a widow who struggles every day to keep food on the table and a roof over my head, when he was posting on his blog bragging about how the tax payers pays for his food, housing, meds I lost it! He has to be the meanest, nastiest, manipulating person I have ever seen Yes he has issues but I don't feel for this guy at all. When he was in the hospital to get his pills and the care giver princess was calling him out on his game the look, the smile no smirk on his face made me want to bit** slap him. The money he costs us all with his games of calling the ambulance and going to all the different ER's to get his free meds.
I think I am going to contact TLC and see if they need help on staff during the interview process when they decide who gets help and who does not.

It was very disturbing to watch him mock the medicare/medicaid system. I'm from RI and remember the news coverage, it was totally biased, but now we know the whole story. He needs a court ordered commitment for 60 days. He will sign himself out otherwise!!
I'm anxious for the next episode; it's like looking at the aftermath of a car accident. You just can't not look.

I gave up on this show after the first few seasons. Too much drama.

I jus****ched it last night on youtube (we don't have cable). Ugh. I have no idea why the show would feature these people (especially Steven) or why on earth Dr. Now would even consider treating him. Not only is he a loser (although that's not really a factor), but he seems to have no interest at all in helping himself (which should be a factor). Is this show jumping the shark, or what?? I wish they'd get back to featuring normal people. Guess I'll be switching over to Fat Doctor..
Exactly. Society as a whole will look down on us even more. This ****** me off.

I was very annoyed watching this episode as well. In my line of work, we get a lot of drug seekers calling for "help" and it's clear what they want - the meds.
The positive, very positive, thing I was glad to see was the absolute-zero tolerance Dr. Now had for his inappropriate behavior towards his staff and in general. Had he given in and allowed him to stay in the program I would have stopped watching and been very disappointed.
Princess had his # and called him out. He-Steven has been making a conscious decision to be sneaky and manipulative with his pain med addiction. I hope he DOES NOT get WSL until he gets his life together and proves he is mature and responsible enough for the blessing of this living saving surgery.
