It is going good so far. I have been trying to find ways to get protein in and meeting my liquid goals. I am able to drink pretty much all day, but remembering to right now is the trick.

I am excited that I go in for my one week check up on Friday. I am hoping I am cleared for puree or at least non-clear liquids so I can start having protein shakes and maybe some pureed meats.

I feel like I have been pretty lucky for far, after my first 3 days no real pain, and only really odd burps/whatnots when I drink too fast, no getting sick.

Keep up the posts, it is really inspirational to think I can get there and stay there.

Great news man. Ya the first few weeks are definitely ... interesting lol. The healing stage of the incisions was bothersome for me with my undershirts rubbing them, so I bought really big bandage patches and would put them on. I think i might have cut the sides off so it wasnt sticky on all 4 edges, so air would get in. No ointment, just kept my clothing from rubbing the bothersome incisions. May find that can help as you move along with healing in a few days/week

Take it slow with the eating and drinking for sure -- I still find myself getting sick... Some people never once get sick from too much food/liquid at a time, that is definitely not my story. I blame ME, not my sleeve. I just overdue it sometimes... You learn, and learn quick, what you can handle

Lots of great info on here! Youre in good hands

You can absolutely have the success as me, theres nothing special about my story that separates me from any other member here :) I just take a day at a time, weighing myself and finding what works for food intake, and then repeat it until I get bored. (2 eggs for breakfast, pouch of starkist or bumble bee tuna at 10, some lean protein at lunch, another pouch of tuna at 3 and then something for dinner).

Myfitnesspal is a great tool to use once you get into solid foods... Purees as well, but just harder because you will probably be blending stuff together, so just need to make sure youre getting volume measurements to input.

:)
