OMG here we go again. You look too thin, you don't need to lose any more, yada yada
Hi Chris,
I am so sorry for your loss!
I can't tell you how many times I have heard people in support group (back in the day) listened to their friends and family ended up back to the same old struggles! Stay strong! You know what is best for you and keep seeing your surgeon. They will let you know if you are going too far the other way!

We don't need a lot of food in the fridge. I used to throw away so much food from it going bad. I can shop so easily there are stores everywhere.
I like when excuse myself to use the ladies rooms at dinner. And everyone looks at me like are you okay? I say yes I am not going to throw up dinner if that is what you are wondering. Sometimes I can be a *****
LOL! That's funny. I may use that one. :)

I have not had surgery yet, in pre-op stage...but I GET IT! Part of the reason I am keeping my circle of people who know about me doing surgery very small is this....I KNOW if I lose this weight on my own, I mean without this tool, no one will even be bother'd...just give me an ole' "good job Ter" pat on the back. If they knew it was from WLS, I will be watched like a hawk....questions, questions, QUESTIONS! Might just keep the whole process to my little group...and just live life without all the hassle of explaining myself.
One day at a time though...GREAT POST!!
Absolutely get it!...I'm having surgery in 3 weeks and my friends/co-workers are already watching what I eat like a bunch of hawks. Then they love reminding me what I can and can't eat post-surgery (they have no clue). Everyone is an expert! I carry my weight well so my closest friends don't believe I am at 280 lbs. I don't see myself as obese--until I see myself in pictures.
I have not had the experience yet of family saying I lost too much weight. I don't think I will as I was actually very, very sickly skinny growing up...until I started a family. But my "baby" is 23 now so I can't blame her for the weight gain anymore!

Hi BETH6536
Be prepared! You will be shocked as those that are watching you like a hawk and telling you what to do (I am sure in a well meaning way) will be the first to get nervous when they feel they are losing their fat friend. I can't tell you how many people I had to drop from my life and co-workers were the worst. My best friend I thought had a huge falling out over my weight loss and we were never the same. You may have to choose one day, friend or your health
