What food does your sleeve/pouch gripe about?
Google CRACK SLAW. It's a good recipe to use with ground beef.
I did better with ground beef than ground turkey. The fat content of the beef helped it go down easier.

YES -- this exactly!! I had this for almost 18 months post surgery.
In fact, there were a few times that eating out they were cut up in a salad and I just forgot -- and I always paid for it. Miserable.
My husband starting calling them Puke-cumbers -- A bit TMI -- but, well, there you go.
It's only been recently that I can eat the regular sized ones with the skin -- but I am still quite leery...

Deli meats in general are a no go... I would say Ham because of the moisture sits the best... but not worth it to me. The sliced Roast Turkey at Trader Joe's is very doable...thicker and much moister
When I try to make protein pancakes and other healthy carby type things...sometimes they just sit like lead... and again sorry I even tried.

It's interesting to me that the deli meats seem to be mentioned a few times. I have been spreading them with laughing cow cheese and dipping them in light mayo, greek yogurt or mustard. Still, they just feel like they are all up in my throat. I have had turkey several other ways without issues!
