So this past week my kids were off school for spring break and I had put back a little money to take them on a small trip to the mountains. We were in Gatlinbirg for four days. This is the first time in my life I have ever gone on a trip as a normal weight person. We walked and walked and walked all day long and everywhere in the mountains has stairs, my tracker counted between 11 & 15 flights each day. Every day I had no problem doing all the walking and stair climbing and by evening each day I still had the energy to keep going when my 16 & 14 year old kids were wore out. While I did allow myself a little treat while on vacation I still focused on protein and when I got home my weight hasn't changed at all. It was so wonderful to go on a trip and not feel like I had to watch my family from the sidelines and not have a single worry about if I was going to fit in a seat or be too heavy to ride a ride.

That is awesome! I never felt like my weight was holding me back so it really is amazing to see how much easier it is to do things now. Congrats!

Love this!

My greatest NSV's have involved things I can now do with my family. Including just going to dinner without stressing over having to fit into a booth. ;)

So happy for you!
