Did your spouse/SO/partner lose weight?
Unfortunately my DH has gained about 20 lbs. He was about 20-30 lbs. overweight before he gained the last 20. He wants to loose, but he really loves his fast food. He's trying and I encourage him, but I know from experience that he needs to do it on his own so I just try to encourage any good choices he makes.

My ex-husband lost weight a few months after I started the supervised diet. The habits of a SO (good or bad) can tend to rub off, in my experience!

My hubby lost about 20# recently. I think it 80% due to the changes I've made in meal prep for the family ans 20% his effort.
I'm super proud of the great habita my kids have adopted. We go through so much water now cause that's all that they drink. and my younger loves to exercise.

My husband gained 25 lbs in the first two months after my surgery. I think he was morning the lose of his favorite eating buddy. He wasn't overweight to start with and had already lost 10 pounds of it. He is on a medical mission to Africa so I expect things will be back to normal by the time her gets home next month.
My husband, who has always been thin to begin with (usually 170 pounds @ 6'3"), lost about 10 pounds during the 9 months I was losing weight. I told him his butt was too skinny so he had to pick up the food quantities a bit to get back where he belonged.

my SO was always super healthy. She did not lose any weight but loves all my new styles of cooking. She has been nothing but 100 % supportive. There is a meal or a snack here and there where i am fighting myself because it is not the best protein forward choice i could make. She will ask if that is what we are eating and is it the best choice. but without judgement, that is the key. that small sentence almost always leads to me making the best choice for me.

I'm extremely proud of my wife. She made food and lifestyle choices when I went through my process and has lost 80 pounds and maintained it. There's no question that I couldn't have done what I have without her.
