I got the call today! Insurance approved my surgery, and on the first try! It is finally sinking in, this IS happening. At first I was terrified that I wouldn't do "good" and insurance wouldn't approve me. Then I was terrified that they WOULD... well, they did. my surgery is scheduled for the 31st of May. GULP! HERE WE GO.
