One year!

I went to my one year post op appointment this morning. It could not have gone better. I have surpassed my doctor's expectations! My health is at 100% and I feel fantastic. I told him this surgery literally saved my life.

He looked at my stomach and said most of what is left is excess skin and recommends plastics in the next year or so.

He actually asked me if I want to lost more weight! What!?!?!?!

I do want to lose another 30 lbs or so and I am still losing at a rate of about 1-2 lbs per week.

Who is this person I have become? I exercise every single day, not to punish myself but because I LOVE it! I love seeing how much stronger I get every day. I make good food choices 90% of the time. I look for ways to be MORE active. I am LOVING my new life!

I bet people don't recognize you at all, do they?

I just went to a wedding a couple weeks ago with my husband and a couple people commented that they thought my husband was cheating with someone else because they didn't realize I was me! LOL
