Photo of the Week.... God knows I have tried!!!
For those that know me I have struggled with getting rid of the fake stuff in my clean eating. Not only did I use the pinks but blues as well. For some reason for me both were the taste of choice for me. However, there is that little voice in the back of my head....you are going to pay for this. I drink tea and water all day. Hot tea, cold tea and the amount of the fake stuff I suck in is A LOT. I have tried to get use to Stevia, I swear This picture sums it up for me!!!! Someone suggested SPLENDA Naturals to me. Have you tried these?

It took me a long time to get used to Stevia and I'd still rather have Splenda even though it's "artificial". My worst experience was with monk fruit sweetener though - my body did not react well to it AT ALL!!! Severe dumping episode - cold and clammy, intense cramping, and immediate need for the ladies room.
Fortunately most of the time with hot tea I can drink it without any sweetener but man, if it weren't for crystal light I would never meet my fluid goals!

Hi heidikat72
I tried monk fruit too and agree My love for everything sweet is my demon. I do well to control it but.... When it really gets to me I do the root beer float or orange cream dream trick and it takes care of my sweet tooth.
Kudos to you for not needing anything in your tea

I agree with the Stevia face. I think someday we'll learn there's a gene some people have and it's like the cilantro thing - some people love it, and those with the gene think it tastes like nasty soap.
I use monk fruit. Natural, nice and sweet, no nasty aftertaste. It used to be easy to find at the supermarket, lately I've had to order it from Amazon.

I agree about the gene for stevia! The first time I tried it was in a juice box and my kids and everyone else was happily drinking them and I wanted to barf.
In addition I think here is a gene for carrots, I can not even describe how bad they taste to me and can't fathom why people like them. And Blue Cheese! To me it tastes like vomit, but my husband loves it.
