I think it is wonderful that you are celebrating this with us! I am an adult child of an alcoholic and I couldn't be happier for you and your family. My mother didn't stop drinking until she was in her mid-seventies and I was in my mid-forties. But I got to know what a smart, funny, good woman she was in the last years of her life and I think she learned to finally enjoy life at that point too. How great that you will have many more years!
