Am I crazy or do I smell different?
I'm nearly 4 weeks post-op and I feel that since the surgery I smell different. My deodorant has failed me several times, when this was never an issue and (probably TMI) my urine smells different. Am I just crazy or has this happened to other people?

Changing to a high protein/low carb diet will definitely make a change in smells. If your carbs are low enough, ketosis will cause your urine to smell. Icky as that is, it's also a sign your body is burning your fat, so YAY for that.
The smelly underarms could be down to the same thing, but that one I'll leave to the vets to answer.
You smell the same to me.

I think in addition to you smelling different, your sense of smell might be heightened and whacked out. I couldn't stand my husband's breath for the first 6+ weeks. I'm finally losing that now, thank God. I also would smell things in our house no one else could (burnt toast anyone?! I thought I had a brain tumor!). Foods tasted very weird/strong. Everything is back to normal now for the most part.
Strangely, I have not noticed me smelling strange or anything about me smelling strange but I must be in ketosis because I'm eating about 15g of carbs per day. I did buy some strips to check, but keep forgetting.
