What ever floats your boat I never drank and or partied but loved the food. I know shocking right?

Food has always been my primary motivation for any holiday! Corned beef isn't high on my list, so maybe that's why St Paddy's Day never appealed much

I made corned beef (no cabbage to my husband's chagrin) last Sunday. I hate cabbage so it was corned beef and carrots.

No events planned since I'm working tonight.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

I cook corned beef, cabbage, carrots, turnip and potatoes.

My husband is Irish, from a large family. He did not get the celebrate gene that the rest of his family has. LOL After 2 platefuls, he is now asleep. Leftovers anyone!!

My parents were kind enough to both have holidays for birthdays. St.Pat's was my father's. He got the same 2 birthday cards every year.

These days I celebrate the holiday thinking about my dad and how cool he was.
