What is one of your favorite things to do for St. Patty's Day?

I lived in Chicago for years and loved going downtown for the river dyeing green. It's so cool and then we would hit one of our favorite eating places for corn beef and cabbage. YUM!

One of my coworkers is Irish, and she always feeds us! She bakes TONS of soda bread and scones, and makes two huge pieces of corned beef, and leaves it all in the breakroom. Corned beef is good protein!

I was thinking I should dress my son up in green for daycare today, but I completely forgot. He's wearing his Arizona Wildcats t-shirt to celebrate their basketball win last night(!!!), but luckily he has blue and green sneakers :)

I have this huge black pot I use to put corn beef, carrots, potatoes and cabbage in. My husband and I would eat it for days. He loved vinegar on it and I loved butter LOL The more the better

I'm so proud of him, he filled out his own bracket this year! I opened up the bracket app on my tablet and let him whack at the screen until he made all of his picks. He legitimately picked Arizona to win the tournament, what a smart kid! ;)

Did you put the butter on the beef? I guess it's not too weird since they put butter on steak at fancy restaurants, but I'm not sure if I'd try it!

I would have (these are the old buffet girl days) a huge bowl of Cornbeef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage and put a ton of butter on them all.

Every year since 1997 a local small restaurant puts on a free corned beef and cabbage dinner for the community. It's a big deal and the line is huge, but it is worth the wait!

When I was in college my group of friends would always have a party for St. Patty's day....green themed, of course.

Now the hubby and I really don't do much of anything. We aren't Irish and we aren't big drinkers, and he doesn't like corned beef.

This year we were invited to a party one of his coworkers is throwing but since I had my band removed a couple days ago I'm going to spend my time healing and resting while I watch Doctor Who
