Pinched nerve in between shoulder blades
I've been burning the candle at both ends lately and truthfully I've been abusing my body in the process. My body has started to retaliate. I'm now sick and starting last Thursday I've pinched a nerve in between my shoulder blades that i can't seem to release. Any suggestions on how to get that pinched nerve to release?
I do need to find a new chiropractor, my old one passed away. What does an epsom salt bath do?
massage therapy and chiropractor. Shoulder/neck issues are a regular for me. I find I need to do massage first to loosen, then chiro. If it is too seized up the chiropractor can't do an adjustment.

When I initially lost all of the weight I was having major issues with pinched nerves. I tried conventional medicine (what I could do after RNY anyway), and nothing worked. I visited a chiropractor who told me that with the weight loss, my body had gotten about 3/4 inch out of alignment. I had regular visits every week for adjustments for a few months and everything got better. No harmful drugs taken. Just chiropractic adjustments did the trick. That was several years ago. I need to go back because I've recently started having issues with pinched nerves again.
I would get in to see a medical doctor as well - there maybe an underlying cause for the nerve pain. I recently had shoulder pain and when x-rays were done there were bone spurs on both sides (very common), so they ordered an MRI to see if these spurs were causing an impingement - which they were - moderate on one side, severe on the other. This puts me at an increased risk for a a rotator cuff tear down the road.
Anyway, I say all this as I think it maybe a good idea to see if there in an underlying issue.
Chiropractors are absolute quacks.
Get a massage and take some Tylenol. If it persists, see your doctor for a muscle relaxer.
maybe the ones you know. Mine is excellent and has brought me out of problems for 30 years. Too bad you couldn't benefit.
