I malabsorb most of the fat I eat, so I eat very high fat items...butter on everything

I prefer high fat meats, so I limit beef to once per week or I look for expensive leaner cuts (tenderloin, mostly) which also taste good. I eat a lot of fatty fish too. I'm staying in my marcos as well but my portions are small. I think as long as you keep your carbs down and measure your portions it's fine.

I also eat full fat dairy, full fat mayo, etc. I just portion size and regulate :)

My surgeon's office recommended going low fat on everything, and at first I did that. At least until I started reading on here and hearing from the vets. Then I turned my back on low fat and haven't looked back since.

I never do low fat dairy, but if I do any meat that's low fat, it's just because I prefer it, rather than attempting to cut the fat.

I thought I was the only one who had a hard time getting chicken down! I never knew how so many others do too. Sometimes I almost feel like I'm chocking on it. So, I prefer red meats as well.

Just btw beans ( no fat .. try re fried canned or chili beans ) do a far better and healthier job " cleaning you out" .

Combined with enchilada sauce.. fat free cheeses and grilled marinated chicken slices .. heaven on a plate :)

i pay my ( multiple thousand) NY office rent with cooking and my ( fat ) landlord has NO IDEA he's eating healthy or God Forbid DIETING because my no fat no sugar organic high fiber food tastes THAT GOOD :)

my personal observation is that a lot ( definitely not all ) of MO people have NO IDEA how to replace excess fat with seasoning in foods .. or how to make foods really tasty without making them fat promoting.
