Hey all. I will start this with a Non scale victory that is actually a scale victory but not about the numbers on the scale....per se... last week I stepped on my home scale and it actually registered a weight...!!! holyhell... I haven't seen a home scale that weighed me in years...

and this morning I stepped on and I now weigh 397# I haven't been below 400# since before I met my wife MANY years ago... emotions were kinda high.. I feel so much better and look forward to losing much more. this makes a total of 52# lost since October 29. insurance papers were submitted last week Thursday so I am hopefull that in another week I will have approval to schedule my sleeve surgery.

thank you all for your support and encouragement over the last months. god bless you all and have a great weekend!

I understand what a huge step that is! My old home scale that I liked stopped at 300. My wife bought me a super fancy scale that I hated. I was actually depressed about it. When my sleeve time came i'd had enough of the fancy scale and I unloaded a 50 round box of .357 into it. That was VERY therapeutic! To be able to step on a scale and have it read my weight after surgery brought a tear to my eyes. Congratulations on an awesome non scale/scale victory!

I remember when I stopped seeing that "4" at the beginning. It's a great feeling. Wait until you see a "2", and then a "1"!

Congratulations on last week's and this morning's ****tail of emotions. You worked for and earned it. I just had an image of your scale as a carousel because of the double victory. Hey, images, like emotions, don't have to make sense. They just have to be.

Keep going.
