I use the Ziploc pill bags. Set them up once a month. I bring in 20 to work for the month. Super easy. And I just keep re-using them.

I've been using the ziploc style pill bags from Walgreens.

I'm upgrading to this:

I'll give a review once I've used it for a bit, waiting on shipping now. :)

Hmmm. For those of you taking pills several times a day, may I ask why? I take lot of pills, but I take them all in the morning. I use the calcium and iron patch, so is that why? No interaction issues?

yes - it's because calcium and iron pills need to be spaced out. Three doses of calcium and one of iron = 4 sets of pills minimum :)

I have a couple of chronic conditions, one Rx is taken 2x/day. Then I have 2 Rxs that need to be taken in the a.m. and 2 Rxs that need to be taken in the p.m. I generally just split the rest of them out between the 2 times so I don't have to take multiples during the day, but I do have to keep an a.m. dose pack and a p.m. dose pack.

My favorite are these stainless steel ones by Gus Made:

These are just for portability. You can't really organize multiple days of pills in these, but they are solidly built and completely waterproof. I put one on each of my keyrings in case I forgot to take a pill so I know to have them with me. A little pricy, but they are solid.

I never knew there were so many options. I may go for the 31 day option----I hate filling the seven day organizer, so half the time it's empty and I miss taking my meds. Filling it once a month may be time consuming with all the different meds I take, but better to do it once a month than four times.

Thanks Gwen for posting the question....I learned something new!
