Pill Container Recommendations?
I'm back to needing to take pills 4 times a day. "Yay." So I need a better pill case. Preferably I want something that I can set up a week at a time but then carry 1 day's worth of pills with me so I'll remember to take pills while I'm out.
Do any of you have a pill container that you LOVE and can recommend?
Thanks!

Oh! I saw this one on Amazon. Is it huge? Do you like it?

That's a nice one. Taking meds 4 times a day is a pain. Those boxes can really help. Fortunately I only have to take meds every 12 hours. I have timer tops on all my bottles. Before you open you can see the digital time since you're last dose. When you open the top it goes back to zero. This helps me keep things close to 12 hours and it's easy to see if you haven't taken it.
Vitamins are not included. I throw those down at different times.
I have this, but I switched to this one because the other was annoying. I lost a few of the day boxes. These day boxes are bigger, but I always have a briefcase, so. The one I got has flaws too. The case is very cheap, unfortunately, but I don't carry the whole case, so.
The 31 day one is REALLY nice, but I fond it a bit tooo organized. I kept it because I was contemplating the DS. Don't get me wrong, it works very well. They also sell replacement boxes which is nice.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

It is 8x10 about the size of a sheet of printer paper and about 8" high. I have had it for at least five years. I have a place for it on a nightstand.
I sit down once a month and fill all the containers. The containers are numbered from 1 to 31. When you fill the containers you put them in the holder with the green ends facing up.
In the morning you take out the container for the day. It has four sections labeled Morning, Noon, Evening and Night. it is small and easy to carry. When you finish a container for the day you put it back in its slot with the red end facing up.
You can tell at a glance if any days have been missed because the green end will be facing up. I would never want to go back to any other containers.

Thanks! I'll try it out. Setting up pills once a month is definitely appealing :) The huge size isn't so appealing.. but I'm willing to give it a go.

I just use the 7 day ones labeled Sun-Sat. I take pills 3 times a day. I fill all three every Monday morning (just because Monday is my day off). I have one in the bathroom for morning meds, one by my chair for evening/bedtime meds and one on my nightstand to take my thyroid meds.
You will have to experiment to see what works for you. I keep chewable calcium at work so I can get one in during the day - but they are just in the original bottle.
Best wishes,
Penny
I don't use anything fancy. Just a mini Tupperware type container that I keep filled with calcium and multi's. I have a container in my purse, my car and at work so I never not have access to them. I have an app on my phone/watch that reminds me when to take them.
