Aw, thanks. There's an advice columnist I follow called Captain Awkward and, thanks to her, I've learned the power of having scripts and changing the subject. Repeating the same script, over and over again, can be an extremely useful tool.
So all kudos to the Captain :D
And I didn't know that you also did your surgery at VHC. Or, if I did know, I'd forgotten since I'm forgetful a lot.

Me too. I haven't been terribly active since I came over - life has been super busy so I read a lot but haven't had much of a chance to post - but I have really enjoyed the tone - and the staff -
kathy S has a way of responding and defusing things I wish I could learn. I am not a diplomatic sort.
I have enjoyed Citizen Kim and all the people who gave me support with no judgement for my lifestyle. I have gotten a lot of flack for who I am and I really appreciated being able to post about my somewhat unconventional lifestyle and having absolutely 0 backlash.
