Varicose Veins
I have several varicose veins on my legs. My doctor told me that the only way to solve this problem is to drink pills for strengthening of vessels walls. I also read that it is possible to remove them using laser, but only after the doctor's approval.
Sorry, I do not exactly understand what you mean by "drink pills for strengthening of vessels walls". Once the vein has become varicose the way to deal with (not the only way - compression hose is a way to give comfort) it is to have a laser treatment to close off the vein. The body is an amazing thing as it will eventually find another route for the blood flow. The procedure is called EVLT and you can find info on it via WIKIpedia. It is somewhat uncomfortable when done but not terrible.

I had leg swelling (venous insufficiency - diagnosed by three doctors PCPs and vein doc) and varicose veins pre - op and PO. I had two laser procedures to close off veins in my right calf. The insufficiency got worse about 9 years PO. I have a family history of varicose veins with this being my mother and her father. He died well before I was born (pre 1953) and there really was not any treatment back then for his problem. My mother had the old fashioned vein stripping which they do not do anymore and it made her situation worse.
There is nothing to my knowledge that is a proven herbal or FDA approved med for varicose veins. My PCP and the vein specialist would have tried that first as they both are very conservative doctors. The procedures for me were covered under my insurance because in the long run it is dangerous to just ignore the problem as it can cause ulceration and if left untreated one may need amputation. For me compression hose helps somewhat but not entirely. They are difficult to put on especially the full length ones and are hot to wear in the summer. I have a script for edema for me to take when needed which is far easier to do than put on the hose.
You really need to talk to your PCP about your problem.
