Worst Thing Said to You After Losing A Lot of Weight...

Odd you should bring that up --
My husband is decidedly slim -- and always has been. He is very athletic and has never weighed more than 160 pounds in the 20 years we've been together -- and is 5'10" -- so he's very average sized in height as well. He detests when people call him "big guy" and finds it quite disingenuous. It's one of his pet peeves.
He would agree with you completely -- perhaps for different reasons. Really, people shouldn't be making comments that relate to body size ever - no matter the gender.

Men are truly different about weight. Other than here or at the Doctor I have NEVER told anyone what I weigh (at the most or the least). Yesterday a man I work with asked me how I lost the weight because he said he weighed 350 and was developing health problems. We had a good discussion because he had been considering WLS and was glad to have some ideas on how to further his research. But it really struck me when he started the conversation with how much he weighs!

This was not really rude... but I nanny couple of kids, 8 and 12. The 8-year-old said to me the other day, "You are so Skin-ny!" Meaning, I had so much extra skin hanging from my arms... He loves for me to show him so he can make it wiggle. TMI but also the purity of little minds.
