Worst Thing Said to You After Losing A Lot of Weight...

Worst comment: Wow, your face is so thin, it looks like you weigh 50 pounds soaking wet. Stop losing already, or better yet, go eat a cookie or 3 or 4.

I was not too thin by the way. I guess the people who saw you every day when you were overweight think you look thinner than you are once you lose so much weight.

Funniest comment: This one was from my toddler daughter at the time. She's 15 yrs old now.

When I was losing weight I got into doing Taebo daily as my form of exercise. I was tired one day and thought I might skip it. LOL. My toddler looked at me and said, "You better not skip it or your butt will grow back." She also referred to my arm flab/skin as a "waddle". Oh, the honesty of children.

Worst comment: "Good for you for learning how to eat better."

I always knew what I should be eating; it was following through with it that didn't seem to work.

My sister told me I looked like a concentration camp victim. Nice...right? I think she was pissed because she was always the "thin sister" and I was the "fat one". She was steadily gaining while I was losing. Now I weight a good 30 pounds less than she does.

I was always the fat sister and if I ever got thinner than my sister some crazy WL scheme was in the making on her part.

I have to say this time she has been pretty good about it... and I do feel bad for her she regained all her weight and has lots of medical problems.

I've always been the fat sister of 3. One of my sisters the last few years almost caught up to my weight (she weighed 9 pounds less) and had VSG 6 months before my RNY. We would talk daily at first, then weekly at least until about a month ago when my losses started catching up to hers. Her tone totally changed and she barely talks to me now.

I've always been the fat sister too, significantly fatter. I've never been smaller than her at any point in our lives. Now I'm within about 40 lbs of my younger sister and it's been mentioned a few times in passing. We have very different body types though so it will be interesting to see how different we look at the same weight. We 're close and she's very supportive of my surgery so I don't think it will become a problem but we're entering uncharted waters.

My MIL said the same thing to me. That I looked like I was rescued from a concentration camp. Wow. Can you feel they love we share?

A co-worker thinking he was complementing me said" Were you already big when you got married? Because if so, I bet he's surprised now that he sees he married a 10". You know...because now that I lost weight my rating is a 10! F.U. dude!

I havent really had anything bad :( I've had people tell me I need to stop losing, thats been the worst thing I can think. That, or the tech that gives me my allergy shot asked me yesterday where my butt went lol. Ive never had a (_!_) tho
