I had a major hernia repaired and opted not to do any lower body work -- but, I will say that it best to wait to have the hernia until you are where you want to be and stable for a while -- even more so if you intend to do plastics.

I have Medicaid and was able to get coverage for a panni and breast reconstruction. They will not pay for implants. My surgery date is May 4th.

What did you have to do to get it covered? I was assuming that I would be denied and will need to appeal? I have some nasty scars and fairly frequent rashes. Plus the hernia. I can't ride a bike or run because of the flapping.

I had upper back and shoulder pain due to my breast, lower back pain and a rash. I also had the flapping when I walked or did any exercise. Plus I have problems fitting into bra's. After I get those repaired I'm going to try to get legs covered. I have a medical necessary on my legs from a vascular surgeon. I have very large veins and venous insufficiency. He told me I have floppy veins which is causing the pain and burning in my legs due to weight loss.

They covered my Panni- documented rashes. I had to pay $2,000 for the tightening of the muscles/tummy tuck portion. So worth it- an absolutely dramatic difference.

I had a LBL, I didn't need to walk stairs for the first 8/9 days because I was at a hotel. I traveled for PS. But after that I did do the stairs at home once a day, and maybe more often the further out I was. I have a 2 story house with bedrooms upstairs. You have to be mindful to not over due it...
