A Brief Statement from The Missing
You say people should have compassion and then call them "chubbies"...
Sorry your jimmies have been rustled. Perhaps you should take your own advice or just not come around again.

I made no remarks regarding anyone in particular but you find it ok to attack me personally like that? I didn't attack one single person on here. If anyone has crossed any lines, it would be you.
I take nothing, not even protein supplements. I pride myself on my hard work and stay in shape to set a better example for people. Not every person who works hard and cares about their body takes any sort of injection. Not once did I say look at me, I look better than you. I am sure you saw my pics and felt that way, but that's on you, not me.

Oh, please. Your post absolutely attacked people, that's why the mods removed it, and any posts that included the quoted text.
Don't be a hypocrite. If you attack people, stand by it. Grow a pair.

I agree that the rude, snarky, even hateful comments are not helpful, and often even counterproductive. I disagree, however, that someone's belt buckle qualifies them to dress-down someone on the same journey they once traveled. No one on here has the right to call someone else out about what they are doing on their weight loss journey. We're all here for a reason, and none of us is above regain. Losing, maintaining, gaining, 5 days out, or 5 years out, it's important that the comments have the genuine goal of helping the poster. That individual may not be where you are on the continuum. Help them. Or if you can't say something nice...
I don't think anyone's belt buckle makes them a qualifier to talk down to anyone either, that's not what I meant. I believe anyone looking for help should be treated kindly. It was more of a stab at those still fighting-the-good-fight, appear to be on the losing side, but yet have zero compassion.

Get your facts straight, you might try reading the statement again. If you haven't noticed or can't understand the post oh well.

I think the point that Josh was making was true...there is a lot of "snarky" comments by vets. It can make this forum a very hard place for newbies.
I'm not one of them..and I don't scare away easily. I've reached my goal..and stayed here for 11 years.
HOWEVER I've seen many newbies been run off...my some tough love.
