Taking the sobriquet Hag and making it our own is in no way making fun of someone. The person who called us hags rejected good advice, told us we were all so fat we needed cranes to hoist our asses out of bed, then called us hags. Not being delicate flowers, we decided hagdom is for those of us who support our fellows day in and out.

Yes to this! People should speak with knowledge instead of guessing and jumping to the wrong conclusions about **** they weren't even here for.

I once saw an interview with Audrey Hepburn when she was in her 60's or early 70's and she was walking on a beach in old Levi's and a turtleneck sweater, hair in a bun. Classic and beautiful and just simply who she had always been. Not faking it, not wearing polyester jumpsuits or over the top Chanel glamour suit. Just normal. I remeber thinking that if I ever got my act together and lost the weight that I wanted to be just like her - only me, but in my jeans and black sweater and combat boots chasing my grandkids around the yard.

So that is maybe the nicest compliment I have ever received, Berry Sister.

I thought this too! I just recently watched Breakfast at Tiffany's again, and there is a resemblance for sure.
