Spring is just around the corner. WOOHOO

Coming out of hibernation is a biggie for us. What are some of the things you can't wait to do after a long winter?

I can't wait to start my garden. I love flowers and there is nothing better than veggies from the garden!

We loved grilling so much my husband use to stand out in the last of the spring snow and grill!

Last but not least I love biking....

Enjoy your weekend! Eat clean and Move!!!

Yay, for Spring, Kathy! Love your pics. Can't wait to garden, we have several raised beds ready to go. Weeding is my meditation. After experiencing knee issues for so many years, swimming became my go to, so can't wait for that. I love mowing grass. Sunshine and warm weather the best.

Have you tried those knee pads for gardening? I found the ground killed them and got ta padded cushion and it really helped.

Let's hear it for veggies. I am such a snob I don't buy tomatoes from the stores. Just don't have any taste!

Back from the gym, yay. I haven't tried them because I can't kneel on my replacement. I often use a bucket, industrial type, to sit on and then weed, etc. This summer I should be able to bend over and weed, hoping. So true, the flavors of home grown can't be beat. What other veggies do you plant? Do you can?

Good Job at the gym

I need to hit google, back in the old days there was this device on a stick that would pop weeds without bending....

Years ago I bought a wheeled box scooter for the garden ... it helps SO MUCH with weeding and maintenance! You never have to get up and move or kneel or squat .. you just push yourself slowly down the row or in front of the bed.

I think it makes efficient weeding literally ten times faster too .

I wish I had a picture of it ... but it was so totally worth the forty or so bux . You can also put your tools in it so when you need a certain weeder or wire tie it's right there !( if you google Pure Garden scooter - mine is the green one with black wheels it works great and is on sale at Overstock. Com and on Amazon)

Unfortunately my boss discovered he loved using it so now He weeds . His version of " weeding " includes cutting my gorgeous tree peony buds back right before they bloom .. cutting back my reblooming iris buds and throwing out the valuable transplantable roots .. and I can't say much because I'm lucky to have free valuable office space and access to a beautiful rare city yard.. once in a while I totally lose it and curse him out which does not help our relationship lol!

yippee. I'm in Tucson. We stay indoors in the air conditioning. Come out after dark when it's cool!
We look forward to the awesome storms in the desert, and the smell of the creosote in the rain.

I can not wait to get on my motorcycle (though I do generally stay on two wheels!). I'm especially looking forward to riding off-road with 40+lbs less weight (so far!).
