How to survive Girl Scout Cookie season!
OMG! They are everywhere, entrance to stores, post office, sidewalk, city hall, ding dong, hello they are at my door
I love, love, love girl scout cookies and they are a trigger food for me. Knowing what you can't eat just one is half the battle. The other half is to stay away, far away. I find this is a good way to keep eyes front and not be tempted at the stores. I wonder if it comes in purple?
Do you have any suggestions that work for you? Help is appreciated

What a hoot! I avoid them at ALL cost. If I ate one ... you know the story. My favorites were Samoa's and Trefoils.
Usually I only had to worry about them set up outside a store but this year the little cookie ninjas actually showed up AT MY HOUSE! Since there was a mom with them, I said I would like to help the troop but that I don't eat sugary treats anymore and offered to just make a donation to the troop in lieu of purchasing cookies. That worked well for that scenario. Fortunately I've managed to avoid them at the entrance to grocery store since my store has two entrances and they only set up at one. Now for the people bringing them to work, fortunately they have both seen me eating really healthy and haven't approached me and even though they have a display set up at the end of the row of desks, knowing people are kinda watching how I eat now I've been able to avoid grabbing a box.

I termed them that a couple years ago when it seemed like they literally were coming from out of nowhere. I'd run into the craft store to get one thing - they wouldn't be there when I went in and less than 5 minutes later when I walked out, a group of them would jump in front of me shouting "wanna buy some cookies?"
then i'd go to target and same thing
then the next day the grocery store and same thing
those little ninjas are everywhere!

See if they have where you can buy a box or two for people who are less fortunate or people in the military.
You will help the Girl Scout troop, the Girl Scouts Organization and someone who is less fortunate or in the military. Best of all, you will feel great without all the guilt and calories.
