Awesome check up and you are doing awesome on weight loss too. I started at 369.8 so it is great to see how far I can get if I work at it like you have, and I fully intend to.

I saw a post on this site about bone density scans being done at colleges for about half the price. I don't remember who posted it but it would definitely be worth checking out if you have a college that offers some type of medical degrees near you.

It could have been my post. I live in the metro-Detroit area, and Eastern Michigan University offers DEXA scans for $40 ($30 for students), which is less than half of any other provider I've found in this area.

Worth looking into for sure!

congrats on your appointment. I do overnight oats for my carbs. 2tbs oats 1/2 premier protein 1/2 tbs chia seeds and 1/4 of an apple with a sprinkle of cinnamon. I have a 1/2 portion for my snack as well.

If you think you might like it give it a try.

I've been thinking about trying a dexa scan as well. will have to see what it costs.

Thanks for the recipe! I have tried about a million oatmeal recipes over the years, and i just cannot handle the texture. But maybe the chia seeds would change that up.

The chia seeds have a tapioca type texture. I add them to thicken. If you want to play with texture, for thicker add more chia...for thinner add less, I started with 1tbs, but like my oats runnier so I reduced them.
