Six months already?
Well it has been six months since surgery. I have gone from 312 pounds to 206!
I was wearing tight fitting 3XL shirts to easily fitting into XL and I even have some large that I'm fitting in quite nicely. I was wearing 38-40 pants and now I'm in 32's. I'm certain that I would fit in 31's. All of the usual blood work looks good, no issues at all. Little things that you don't really think about have changed. I haven't ripped the crotch out of my jeans. I can keep on physically working without feeling like I'm having a heart attack. I can actually sit cross legged!
A few minor issues. My head still sees me as 300+ pounds. I don't see my loss until I look at pictures.I look down in the shower and I still can't see my toes. WTF??? I still have what I consider to be a Buddha belly. I've had a bit of muscle loss but nothing that has caused me any real issue. My boney butt hurts. My feet are quite often cold. Other than that, I'm awesome! People ask me all of the time "do you feel better?". Well gee, I never felt bad before so how would I know? I notice that I don't have to work so hard physically unless it is something that I was able to use my previous weight to my advantage. Either way six months has gone by and I feel that this was the second best decision of my life.
I share everything with my sweetie! Good communication is so important for a healthy relationship. I actually feel that is is more important than a physical relationship by a long shot. I'm looking forward to my head catching up. Thanks for the encouragement!
Congratulations! Great work! So much to be proud of!
The not seeing the results is a common challenge. Taking lots of photos and looking at them regularly will help!
the behaviorist at my clinic also suggested measurements are important for this reason too. To give your brain more info to process, and hopefully catch up.

I knew that I forgot something. I should have mentioned that I have lost 47 inches as well.
That's amazing! I'm impatiently waiting to join people on the loser's bench....I guess I'll have to bring a padded seat since everyone complains about having a bony butt

I'd be unstoppable if not for law enforcement & physics
You will get to love and hate your boney butt all at the same time. I always thought that I didn't have a butt before, now I know that I don't!
