Just on a side note, you find that many people that SOME (not all or most, but some) ....have other issues to deal with aside from obesity. People melt down, inexplicably leave without notice or reason (at least not an obvious reason) or just just have a weird reaction or over react to someone's opinion that is posted here.

NOTE: It's very hard to account for tone in an online post.

ANYWAY. My recommendation (from 11 years here)....block people you don't like ...don't become overly attached to people you do like, because there is a good likelihood that unless you are friends with them in real life...because WLS is a very small part of life. People eventually recover...and then many just move on with the rest of life.

But Scotty I thought we were the best of friends? Ive known you longer than my BF. We are supposed to grow old as WLS BFFs no matter what.

(An aside for the clueless that was all said in sarcasm)

Well we DSers are a rare breed!! I've actually met many DSers in person....I was crazy enough to walk around manhattan looking for a grou of them that were eating cookies..hahahahaha. A really fun loving group!

The NY groups moto is "what happens at Lucky Changs, stays at Lucky Changs"......I do miss them. But we tend to move on to vile and malious things.

I used to have a grand time at my surgeons support meetings, but thoes have gone away as he passed away like 4 years ago. Yes the horrible dr he was had them at restraunts, lol. (Sarcasm as my dr learned directly from Hess himself and was the longest practicing bariatric surgeon in the state having been doing bariatrics for 20+ years (national info not his words)). He was a big pusher of portion control not food avoidance, as he said he found food avoidance led to more people binging when they finally ate something they had been avoiding.
