That's my whole issue with blocking . It's being done without explanation- the moderated person cannot self -edit the offending post because the ability to edit or delete has been taken away from them and the " moderation " including not being able even to private message your friends is endless .

Being treated like this makes a regular contributor feel totally unvalued and unappreciated. 

In my opinion blocking should only be for trolls and they are thankfully very rare here .
