OMGoodness - Biggest Loser Bob Harper Has Heart Attack
I hope he has a quick and full recovery. Thankfully there was an AED nearby and he quickly received medical help. People are right, you can not escape genetics, although we can do our best to mimimize our own risks.
For those of us who are a liitle older and remember the runner Jim Fixx, he passed away in what appeared to be good health (although he had a family history of heart disease, was formerly obese and ignored signs leading up to his unfortunate passing)
I know I have a friend who was a 29 year old triathlete and she had a stroke while on a run. She mostly recovered, but they found she had a blood disorder. She'll be on blood thinners for the rest of her life.
