Thank you alouisa63, I am setting it to record now!  Now that you mention the Dr.s I think I did see a show where she was on there about her daughter being overweight and they were telling her as the Mom she was responsible for her daughter being overweight. If I remember correctly she didn't take it very well.  

Oh, I hope people don't believe that's what people from the South are like!  I'm from the Pacific NW, but I assume people like this are more of their own subculture than representative of everyone.   I think there are pockets of people like this all over, but of course they make it look as sensational as possible for reality TV.

The worst thing to me was the fat suit. COME on! They can't expect us to believe that is real! The fat suit wasn't even done that well, so it was seriously obvious in her face!!! You can tell her face is much slimmer under all that mess. UGH! They should have planned this better. Started filming before surgery. Because like it or not, people (some people obviously not everyone lol) eat up all that southern twang redneck drama...

I hated the fact that the surgeon wasn't more upfront about what she could and cou;dn't do... 

I hope this changed her perspective. But I fear she will still always be Mama June and her way will PROBABLY creep back up on her. (She obviously did lose the weight)

April was this the scene where (I didn'****ch but read) where he was trying to tell her about the surgery and she kept asking can I eat mac and cheese? Can I eat BBQ and other bad foods?

Yes, and the surgeon did tell her no, but in a gentle way. 

I think they like to make fun of people.  

What do they say? He without sin cast the first stone?  

I have to admit I watched part of it.  My interest in people, psychology and my passion for investigating can't keep me away from wanting to watch. My radar went up when Honey Boo Boo and the other daughter were hanging with Mama June's guy friend. The conversation, red flag.  Can't believe that the producers would be okay with that especially after the sexual offender incident.  Curious what she will look like.
