It Friday ..let's ***** about life after we had WLS.. what don't you like about it?
The last one - yes... Losing weight made me realize that some of my issues had nothing to do with my weight.

Maybe this will change the further out I get but I still buy too much food. Last night, we had take out sushi and I ordered "old school." Literally $30 worth of fabulous sushi went into the trash. Poor hubs tried to stuff himself silly trying not to waste it all.

I am good now at ordering when out. Most of the time. And I almost always have leftover. Sometimes I eat it later.

One of my best friends took me out for a late birthday lunch a couple of weeks ago. It was so awesome when the check came and she said "Wow, you're a cheap date now!" l.m.a.o I love it!
I also love being able to go to restaurants with family and friends, and knowing that whatever I order is going to not only be my meal, but also feed me 2 or 3 more meals. Instead of spending $30 for one meal now (I was a BIG eater), I might spend $10 (water, so no drink costs and no dessert), and it breaks down to $2.50 or $3 a meal. WIN!!!
Honestly I'm not crazy about fearing to bite great desserts. I have mentally dealt with the "craft table " the all u can eat free buffet for the bored extras and everyone else . I used to take leftover food home for ".cats" NOT it was all for me .
I hate having a refrigerator full of leftovers but found an old cat happy to consume them .
I used to feel unsafe not having things to eat in case I got hungry - watching the e.x for several years skip meals all day and thinking of food only when he's starving ( he's a smoker he had other concerns) taught me a lot as does eating with actresses who generally eat minuscule amounts and throw away their food .

Constipation directly from hell. Like nothing I've ever experienced. UNREAL!!
The Flab Zone of deflated tummy and upper thighs is becoming annoying.
Super Potent Reflux is not my friend either. I just started a new med to try to get it under control.
Would still do it again in a minute, BUT would but stock in prunes and stool softener.

I'm in the process of mourning food. I can tolerate chicken, Wendys Chili, some fish, shrimp, and eggs. Cauliflower is deadly. I need to take Beano when eating chili and then a gas-x strip after. I hate having gas! I'm a rival to Exxon.
the good thing is that I'm saving hundreds of dollars on food, especially lunch at work.
But the worst is gas and having to take Miralax every other day in my morning cup of hot tea.
I haven't been able to tolerate dairy except for those little spreadable cheese things, shaped like a triangle l miss Greek yogurt but it blows up my blood sugar, which is excellent now.
