A moment to reflect on what you are grateful for

Went to see my Heart Failure Specialist at OSU this morning. I have to go every 3 months or more if having problems. The past few times I had been in for an appointment, the doc had been called away to the hospital and I ended up seeing his nurse practitioner. He couldn't get over the weight loss and congratulated me for surpassing anything he had hoped for. He scheduled me for a ultra sound at my next appointment. Though for my heart problems the weight loss is not a cure-all but he said that he is anxious to see how much better the heart is currently functioning. To top it off, it was the first time in a very long time that I did not have any complaints ( been feeling a lot better than the norm )!
I am grateful for so many things...
- my parents (they are long gone but made me who I am today)
- My friends - who love me through thin and thick..
- my partner - he is really amazing guy... the longer I am with him to more I appreciate him
- USA -= for allowing me to come here and to be my new home (20+ years ago)
- cops -I do appreciate the hard work they do. Like checking my house when alarm was set off...by a small lizard that either crawled into the house or the cat broth.. said lizard walked all allover the motion detector... and we were told we have an intruder.lol..

My mom, who has been really supportive during this whole wls process in all ways. Despite the fact some of it has taken me away from what I came back here to do.
That I can shop my closet and get into clothes I haven't worn in years and I can get rid of the stuff I bought in desperation at my heaviest.
