I'm not a gadget girl, but my husband is, so I have been gifted quite most of them haha. No instant pot though. But I do ace a pressure cooker.

I have been using my food processor a lot more, for things like cauliflower rice. It used to be stored in the cold room, now it's in the kitchen. The blender for the occasional fancied up protein shake.

But to be honest, my daily go to tools are a sharp chefs knife, and my cast iron pans.

If you are a fan of cast iron pans, you might be interested in trying a carbon steel pan. They are similar, but lighter. And they are flipping awesome for searing meat- much better at it than my cast iron. Chefsteps recommended these, so I bought them. They were instantly my favorite pans. Really well made, no rivets for food to cake up on, forged in one piece, works in the oven, etc.  just fantastic pans. It is an Argentinian company, but the shipping was wicked fast, about 4-5 days to get them to Michigan.

I use my Instant Pot primarily as a yogurt maker right now. I haven't used it to make dinner in a few weeks. The people in the Facebook IP Community would think I've lost my mind.

I have a smaller, cheapish bladed coffee grinder I use to powder the sugar sub of my choice ( Sukrin:1 and Sukrin Gold ) for nefarious purposes ( desserts  ) I don't use it A LOT.

I use my blender to whip up morning yogurt smoothie things. ( unsweetened cashew milk, plain yogurt, and a scoop of protein powder )

I've only used my spiralizer a couple of times. Turns out I'm not a huge fan of zoodles even though I love zucchini.

I have a garlic clove squisher thingy that I use daily, but I've used it for years and years-way before surgery.

I keep it pretty simple in the kitchen these days.

I AM thinking about getting an air fryer. Those seem kinda nifty.

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

Love my air fryer!!  I can't stomach fat anymore after losing my gallbladder, and it does a awesome job of "frying". Don't miss the old method at all and literally don't use any oil!

Some day my sous vide will come.   sighs wistfully

I use the same gadgets post-op that I used pre-op.  Immersion blender, slow cooker, instant pot (well, I didn't own this pre-op, but I would have gotten it even if I hadn't had surgery), mini chopper.

Hm.  I guess I bought the Ninja chopper thing because of WLS and I've used it more than I figured I would. It's a great alternative to lugging out the food processor so I pretty much only use the food processor now when I need the shredding disc.

Sous vide is my most recent kick, and I flipping love my Joule. Bought a second one, but the IP brand to save some money. Have not tried that one yet though. I cannot believe how much better my meat turns out- far better than what i get at restaurants!

I have way too many.

Vitamix, KitchenAid mixer, proof processor, instant pot, GoWise second PC, dehydrator, convection toaster. Expresso coffee maker, Keurig, hand mixer, immersion blender, waffle makes, magic bullet, GF grill, slow cooker, and the list can go on and on and on...Lol...

The one I listed I really use often.

I have some that I need to get rid off.  Slowly. I already sold my ice cream maker.

We don't use the ice cream maker at all too. Clogging up valuable freezer space :(

My son and I both love anything cooked in the Air Fryer!!  I also bought an Instant Pot but only used it once.  I have to find some easy recipes to start!
