What's with the "hag tag"???

What's with all the ladies putting "hag" after their usernames of late? I always thought a "hag" was an old ugly witch or something. I wouldn't think they view themselves in that negative light .. Does "H.A.G." stand for something, maybe? We didn't have that 10 years ago on here ..
