Filling out medical forms for an appointment tomorrow and I realized that for the first time since my surgery my weight has been +/- 1 pound since Christmas! That's two months of maintaining down and 754 or something like that to go lol.

My 2 year anniversary is in a few weeks and I'm grateful that I'm into this phase now and that I've learned some amazing tools to transition into the maintenance area!

Congratulations!!  Weighing every day helps me stay in check.  Maintenance is a ***** but it's better than the alternative.

That is the best and most amazing gift with WLS. Never in my life could I stay at one weight. You can do that now. Congrats!

Congratulations! You should be extremely proud of yourself. For me maintenance has been the hardest. Mostly because I lost the motivation of the scale. For whatever reason watching numbersgo down on that scale drove me.

i have learned to use others things for motivation but by far it is the hardest part.

best of luck to you!

Melinda, maintenance is a wonderful place to be and is my WLS goal.  Throughout my life I was great at losing weight, but prior to WLS could never maintain a healthy weight.  And now, for the last 13 months, I've weighed within 2 pounds +/- of 135 pounds.  So satisfying.

Congratulations to you!

That's great! I remember when my weight at the doctor's for three consecutive annuals was within one pound. That never happened in my entire life. It's a fantastic feeling, and you should be proud.
